Opinionated About Dining it´s another list to serve as a reference when you´re looking for a restaurant, similar to Michelin, Gault-Millau or 50 Best.

It was created by Steve Plotnicki, industry veteran and restaurant aficionado and every year compiles a list, by regions and styles, of the most voted restaurants. It´s true that in the beginning the lists were shorter and now they´re a bit too long, what´s the point of having “the best 550 restaurants of Europe“?

But anyway, it´s a list that, like the other, helps to many people to learn about new restaurants, decide which ones have to try, etc. And Spain did so good in the ranking and its fantastic restaurants (that´s why we are here)

From a total list of Europe´s best 555 places: 15 Spanish restaurants can be found in the first top50 and 45 in the top150. These are Etxebarri and Disfrutar (also Top1 and Top2 at the 50 World´s Best Restaurants), Bagá, DiverXO, Azurmendi, Desde 1911, Noor, Els Casals, Celler de Can Roca, Ca L´Enric, Deesa, Berasategui or Iván Cerdeño among others. In total 130+ Spanish restaurants out of 555.
